KSC International
International cooperation is an important component of the development strategy of the Arctic zone of Russian Federation and one of the priority activities of the Kola Science Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Over its 95-year history, the Kola Science Centre has developed well-established partnerships and friendships with many research and international organizations and universities around the world. Today, our Centre cooperates with more than 80 organizations from more than 30 countries in different aspects of basic and applied sciences. We extend our interests to research, educational and business partners.
The main purpose of the International Department is to organize and coordinate the participation of FRC KSC RAS in scientific programs of international cooperation, aimed at increasing the international prestige of the Centre. This includes the development and implementation of prospective and current policy of international cooperation of FRC KSC RAS in the field of science, education, and culture; coordination of activities related to the international scientific, educational, technical and cultural cooperation together with subdivisions and departments of the Centre.
