Putilov Institute for Informatics and Mathematical Modeling

The Institute is a Federal state budgetary institution, non-profit scientific organization subordinated to FANO. The founder and owner of the Institute's property is the Russian Federation. The functions and powers of the founder and owner of the property assigned to the Institute on behalf of the Russian Federation shall be exercised by RAS in the manner determined by the Government of the Russian Federation.

The Institute was established in accordance with the act of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR dated January 31, 1989 № 103. In accordance with the act of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences dated December 18, 2007 № 274 renamed the Institute of Informatics and Mathematical Modeling of Technological Processes Kola Science Center RAS.

Resolution of the RAS Presidium of December 13, 2011 № 262 changed the type and name of the Institute from the Institute of Informatics and Mathematical Modeling of Technological Processes of the Kola Science Center of RAS to the Federal state budgetary institution of science Institute of Informatics and Mathematical Modeling of the Kola Science Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
