Due to the dangerous epidemiological situation in the countries traditionally widely represented at the conference "Luzin Readings" as well as the high risk of coronavirus infection spread in the country the Organizing Committee decided to hold the X International Scientific and Practical Conference "The North and the Arctic in the New Global Development Paradigm. Luzin Readings - 2020" in an Internet format.
All events planned within the conference framework are canceled.

The main theme of the conference is socio-economic development of the Russian Arctic. A distinctive feature of "Luzin Readings – 2020" is the interdisciplinary approach to discussions of challenges and prospects of the Arctic territories' development. The conference will include plenary and parallel sessions, as well as "School for young Arctic researchers". Within the interdisciplinary session northern and arctic issues will be discussed. Working languages of the conference: Russian, English.
