Geological Institute of Federal Research Centre “Kola Science Centre of RAS” invites you to take part in XVII All-Russian (with International Participation) Fersman Scientific Session dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Kola Science Centre of RAS and 100th anniversary of the first expedition of А.Е. Fersman in the Khibiny mountains.
All-Russian Fersman Scientific Session is annually held by Geological Institute KSC RAS and Kola Branch of RMS and dedicated to the academician А.Е. Fersman, who built the foundation for academic science in the Kola polar region by discovering large apatite deposits in 1920s. The following generations of geologists managed to discover deposits and ore occurrences of nickel, copper, iron, rare metals, kyanite, gold, abrasive garnets, construction materials, as well as of platinum and palladium in the last decade. Fersman Scientific Session is a conference where the broad scientific community reports new results of its comprehensive studies.
Registration of Participants
To be registered, participants should submit their registration forms and articles with layout coherent with the requirements to the Organizing Committee fersman@geoksc.apatity.ru until January 31, 2020
Publication of Articles
If an article gets positive reviews, it will be published in the journal Proceedings of Fersman Scientific Session of GI KSC RAS (ISSN 2074-2479). Each article is assigned to a DOI number and indexed by RSCI.
Registration Fee
The registration fee is 1100 rubles. Payment details for the registration fee will be sent to participants once there is a positive decision of the Organizing Committee. Students and post-graduate students are exempted from paying the registration fee.
